We were delighted to host a round table discussion with friends of the London Technology Club from UK Unicorns Deliveroo, MindMaze, OakNorth and Ovo Energy.

 

Stuart McKnight of Ascendant Corporate Finance gave an overview of market trends, which indicate a steady growth in investments into tech companies in the UK and Ireland over the last few years.

 

Among the topics discussed were challenges of scaling, sourcing talent, preparations for IPO, managing investors and changes in corporate culture that tend to accompany growth. Guests of the event shared their own experiences and lessons learned when building, restructuring and scaling their businesses.
