LTC Breakfast, 'Tech Investing: 2022 in Review with G Squared' at The Arts Club

7 December 2022

While 2022 has been a reality-check for many investors, opportunities are still ripe at all levels of tech investing, and 2022 is on pace to be the second most active year in history for VC investing. Have we seen the bottom for tech public valuations? Did the market crash, or did we just revert to the mean? Should tech investors be optimistic or pessimistic for 2023?

We enjoyed a highly stimulating discussion with Richard Harris, Partner at G Squared – a global VC investing in some of the most exciting growth-stage tech companies:  household names like Airbnb, Bolt, Coursera, Instacart, Lyft, Spotify and Turo - as well as the next generation of disruptors including airSlate, Blend, Brex, Capsule, Gorillas, JOKR, Pagaya, Tipalti, and wefox.

The value of your investment may go down as well as up and, therefore, your capital is at risk. Investments in venture capital funds and projects are particularly risky and you may lose all your invested capital so you will need to ensure that you are able to afford this loss. Investments should only be made by investors who understand the risks.
